Mr. Willis, a Sixth Generation Arizonan, began his commercial real estate brokerage career in 1999 where he specializes in all forms of commercial real estate including land, office, industrial, retail, self-storage, multi-family, hospitality and development. Mr. Willis has worked closely with the medical community, including Dignity Health and Banner Hospitals along with a wide array of medical practices assisting in buying and/or leasing medical office space and land. He was instrumental in the growth of Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, located in Southeast Gilbert, with the development of the Medical Plaza at Spectrum by brokering roughly 100,000 sf of medical office space on campus as well as an additional 150,000 SF within a mile of the hospital.
In 2011 Mr. Willis represented the Sorenson Group Management of Salt Lake City in the partial disposition of their $701 million structured portfolio purchased from the FDIC. The portfolio Mr. Willis represented and subsequently sold included 265,600 SF of multiple grey shell office condos in over a dozen locations. the portfolio also included multiple land parcels, located throughout Metro Phoenix, and over 3 dozen improved office condo pads. He is the lead development consultant for a $204 million, 308 acre sports training and entertainment facility in Metro Phoenix, called Legacy Sports Park, which is scheduled to break ground in Early 2020. In 2015 Mr. Willis expanded his business into the Las Vegas market and joined Sun Commercial Real Estate as the Senior Vice President of the Capital Markets and Investment Division where he specialized on Las Vegas Strip brokerage.
Mr. Willis became the youngest instructor at the Arizona School of Real Estate and Business in 2009 where he created and taught the commercial real estate continuing education curriculum as well as the new real estate licensing courses. He was awarded Rookie of the Year Educator for New Licensing by the Arizona School of Real Estate & Business.
Mr. Willis currently sits on the national advisory boards for Turning Point USA, Act for America and Lifting Generations.
Mr. Willis currently lives in Northeast Mesa with his wife and four children.
